Scrap Warehouse

Introduction

One of the main reasons for the success of Children’s Scrapstore is the fact that it is situated in an area of industry and business which regularly produces suitable waste. The scrap is displayed in the warehouse ready for playworkers and teachers to take back to their groups - where the fun begins!

Unlike in our shop, this service is for members of Children’s Scrapstore only and the materials available are for the sole use of the group. The warehouse has been designed like a scrap supermarket! If you wish to become a member of Children’s Scrapstore, please see Membership information page for more details.

As with a supermarket, members may wheel a trolley or take a basket down the aisles containing shelves and barrels full of fabric, paper, card, plastic and wood offcuts. If it's colourful and interesting it'll be in the warehouse! Some examples of work produced by our groups are on display  - and its all made from scrap.

Children are welcome in the Warehouse as long as they are accompained by an adult.
