One of the main reasons for the success of Children’s Scrapstore is the fact that it is situated in an area of industry and business which regularly produces suitable waste. The scrap is displayed in the warehouse ready for playworkers and teachers to take back to their groups - where the fun begins!

Unlike in our shop, this service is for members of Children’s Scrapstore only and the materials available are for the sole use of the group. The warehouse has been designed like a scrap supermarket! As with a supermarket, members may wheel a trolley or take a basket down the aisles containing shelves and barrels full of fabric, paper, card, plastic and wood offcuts. If it's colourful and interesting it'll be in the warehouse! Some examples of work produced by our groups are on display  - and its all made from scrap.

Children are welcome in the Warehouse as long as they are accompained by an adult.

Both the Scrap warehouse & Artrageous are open 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday (Closed Sunday)

As well as utilising businesses and industries to promote the donation of scrap, other scrapstores can be a good place to find what we want. If a particular scrapstore has too much supply of a certain item and we have what they want, we will swap vanloads of each others materials
